Maame Afriyie Boachie
Maame Afriyie Boachie is a professional marketer and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK). Before being appointed the Managing Director of the Company, Maame Afriyie was the Business Development Manager and later, the General Manager at GLICO Healthcare.
Prior to joining GLICO Healthcare in 2009, Maame worked as a Relief Manager at Trinity Hospice Shops Ltd (London), where she oversaw the administration and management of office operations and staff. Alongside Trinity Hospice, Maame also worked with Sainsbury’s Clapham (London) as a member of the customer service unit.
Maame is a diligent, versatile, experienced and a results-oriented leader whose focus is on achieving desired results. She has been instrumental in identifying and developing GLICO Healthcare’s unique selling proposition, health insurance underwriting and claims management.
Maame Afriyie Boachie holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (Marketing) from the University of Ghana Business School and a Bachelor of Education (Arts) Degree from University of Cape Coast. Maame also holds an Executive Education Certificate in Leadership Excellence from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She has also obtained a Certificate in Consulting Science, Application and Practice from the Ghana Institute of Consulting.
Philomina Tweneboah is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA-GH). She was appointed the Chief Finance Officer in January 2016. She began her career at GLICO Life Insurance Company in 2010 and by her high sense of commitment and hardwork rose through the ranks to a senior position.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University Of Education, Winneba and is currently pursuing an Executive Masters Programme in Accounting & Financial Services Management at the University of Ghana, Legon.
She has also enriched her knowledge through training/short courses in Leadership Development, Payroll Management, IFRS for Insurance Industry; Customer Service Management and many others organized by University of California –HASS Business School; KPMG and Institute of Chartered Accountants-Ghana.
Dr. Eugene Kofi Amable

Medical Consultant, Claims & Provider Relations
Dr. Eugene Kofi Amable is a Consultant Physician/Cardiologist and a part-time lecturer at the School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Ghana. Dr. Amable, who was the Head of the Cardiovascular Unit at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, is highly regarded as one of the most experienced and resourceful medical doctors and lecturers in Ghana.
Dr. Amable has held and still holds very key positions in institutions/organizations, where he contributes significantly to the advancement of medicine and healthcare in Ghana.
He is a member of the Malaria Case Management Technical Working Group and the President of the Ghana Society of Internal Medicine (GSIM). He has been the Chief Examiner (Internal Medicine) for the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons since 2013. He was an Executive Council Member of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) and President of Society of Resident Doctors Korle-Bu Hospital.
Dr. Amable brings his vast experience and knowledge to bear on the operations of the Company.
Pastor Stephen Quarm
Pastor Stephen Quarm is a Communications Practitioner with over 15 years hands on experience in project management. His professional expertise covers the areas of market research and analysis, strategic planning and implementation, advertising, media analysis and project report writing.
He has participated in several projects, including preparation of feasibility study reports, development of insurance products for insurance companies.
He is currently a Consultant and Operations Manager of Aidoo Mensah & Associates, a pensions and benefits consulting firm in Ghana.
