To offer our clients the best in service delivery, we have put in place a technical and complaint settlement committee chaired by Professor David Ofori-Adjei, Rector of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons and a former Director-General of Noguchi Memorial Institute. The five member committee, in collaboration with the Deputy Scheme Manager is charged with the responsibilities of:

  • Overseeing the accreditation of Providers;
  • Ensuring that quality assurance requirements are adhered to;
  • Advising on necessary cost containment interventions; and
  • Adjudicating in all matters of conflict between providers, clients and GLICO HEALTHCARE.

To ensure that the service providers are abreast with current development in medicine, they are required to participate in continuing medical education/seminar updates that are organized by the Company. GLICO HEALTHCARE is accredited by the Ghana Medical and Dental Council to run Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes for healthcare practitioners.
